Apache Web Server kildekode kompilering er altid sjovt.
Det er meget sjældent, at Apache bliver kompileret første gang på en helt ny server.
Faktum er, at det kræver en masse forudsætninger, og hvis nogen af dem mangler eller versionskompatibilitet, skal du muligvis bruge en masse tid på at rette dem.
Jeg arbejdede på den helt nye server Linux 6.4 for at installere Apache 2.4.6 og stødte på følgende fejl.

Efter at have undersøgt forskellige parametre bemærkede jeg, at dette sker, når du har apr-util lavere version end 1.4.1
- Bekræft din apr-util version. Hvis du finder en lavere version, skal du installere 1.4.1 eller nyere
- Download apr-util kildekode fra http://mirror.nus.edu.sg/apache/apr/
- Udpak den downloadede fil
Kompiler og installer som følger
./configure make make install
Som standard installeres den under /usr/local/apr/bin/apu-1-config
Nu kan du komline apache med nyinstalleret apr-util, og det burde være i orden.
./configure --with-apr-util=/usr/local/apr/bin/apu-1-config
